Why It Matters

Why learn to interpret your Bible?

Most of us were handed a Bible but never shown how to read it. So we pull out a verse here and a promise there, and we're left wondering what it really means and why sincere Christians land in such different places. God gave His Word in real history, to real people, through many kinds of writing. When you learn to read it in context, the confusion starts to lift. You stop guessing and start understanding. And you find you can answer the hard questions your kids, your friends and even your own doubts bring to the table.

What you'll gain
  • The confidence to open any passage and understand what God is actually saying
  • A simple, repeatable way to read Scripture in its context, so verses are never twisted out of place
  • Clear answers you can share with family and friends when tough questions come up
“Being saturated in God’s word isn’t just how we know right from wrong. It’s how we recognize right from almost right.”
“The Holy Spirit often brings a verse to mind or directs my thoughts, but He can’t bring to mind a verse I’ve never read.”
