A former geophysicist and philosophy professor (at Whitworth University), Dr. Meyer holds a Ph.D. in the history and philosophy of science from the University of Cambridge. His books include Signature in the Cell (a Times Literary Supplement book of the year), Darwin’s Doubt (a New York Times bestseller) and Return of the God Hypothesis (a USA Today national bestseller).
OTHER INSTRUCTORS
Dr. Titus Kennedy, Ph.D., is the Director of the Center for Mediterranean and Near Eastern Archaeology. He is also the author of "Excavating the Evidence for Jesus," a groundbreaking work that delves into the historical evidence surrounding Jesus.
Dr. Jonathan McLatchie is an evolutionary biologist with a Ph.D. from Newcastle University. He is a Fellow at the Center for Science and Culture and serves as the Director of Talk About Doubts, focusing on fostering discussions about faith and science.
Dr. Brian Miller, Ph.D. is a Senior Fellow at Discovery Institute's Center for Science and Culture. With a background in physics from MIT and Duke University, he speaks globally on intelligent design and societal impacts, manages research programs, and consults for innovation initiatives like TheStartup. He's a prolific contributor to books, journals, and podcasts on the subject.
James Meyer holds a unique blend of academic qualifications, including an M.A. in Biblical Studies, a B.S. in Biology, and a B.A. in Religion/Philosophy from Whitworth University. His diverse educational background equips him with a deep understanding of both scientific and philosophical aspects of theology.
