He has written, edited, or contributed to more than three dozen books, and has published articles in New Testament Studies, Novum Testamentum, Biblica, Westminster Theological Journal, Bulletin of Biblical Review, the Journal of the Evangelical Theological Society, and several other peer-reviewed journals.

Christopher Michael Patton holds a Master of Theology degree in New Testament Studies from Dallas Theological Seminary as well and a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies from the University of Biblical Studies and Seminary in Bethany, OK.
